年明け早々４日〜９日までNYCに行ってきた ３度目のNYC
仕事だったけれど、仕事中もとっても楽しめたし
何より、去年たまたま京都のお好み焼き屋で友達になった
ジェイムスとゲイブに会えたのが嬉しかった
彼らは日本語を話せないし、私も英語が堪能なわけではない
だけど一緒にいるとウキウキワクワクニコニコしちゃうそんな感じ
大好きな友達です
NYCでは１日しかフリーな時間はなかったけれど
初日にジェイムスが連れてってくれた６０年代のロックがかかっているバーや
ビジネスパートナーと行ったスウィングが聴けるライブハウス
最終日にゲイブが連れてってくれた自由の女神が遠くに見えるブルックリンの方の
カントリーな雰囲気のバーでのライブなどなど
５日しかない割には相変わらず音楽漬けな２００９の幕開けなのでした
ことしも素敵な年になりますように

I went to NYC 4th -9th Jan for my work. This is 3rd time to visit to NYC.
All for work, but I really had a great time even if my working time!
Especially I had a great time last day in NYC with my friends James and Gabe.
We met and became friends in Kyoto small okonomiyaki restaurant last May.
They cannot speak Japanese and I am not good at English, but we have same sense of humor and like same taste of music, so it was comfortable and smiling time.
They took me great music place and they were best guide in NYC :-)
And yes, I bite BIG APPLE for sure!
This is my start to 2009, I expect it will be great 2009.
BTW, why is NYC called BIG APPLE?
I wish everyone have a great and happy 2009!
